Vaccination Coordinator (7 Vacancies :Bekaa ,Beirut Mount Lebanon ,Akkar, Tripoli, South Areas)

Job Purpose: 

The Vaccination Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating vaccine management activities, including ordering vaccines, ensuring vaccines are stored and handled correctly, vaccine inventory tracking, and staff training in their respective governate. The Vaccination Coordinator ensures proper storage of vaccine in compliance with MoPH standards, maintains record keeping and appointment system, and maintains systems to assure high compliance with the regulations of MoPH.

Main Responsibilities:

Vaccine Management:
• Ordering vaccines for respective governate.
• Overseeing proper transport and storage of vaccine deliveries.
• Maintaining vaccine inventory information and organizing vaccines within storage units
• Reviewing and analyzing temperature data for any shifts in temperature trends
• Responding immediately if temperatures are outside acceptable ranges.
• Performing physical inventory of all vaccine in stock.
• Monitoring Vaccine cold chain
• Maintaining all documentation, such as inventory and temperature logs
• Accounting for doses of returned or transferred vaccines since the last order
• Completing and submitting reports, as per MOPH protocol
• Manage vaccine Registry Systems
• Ensuring appropriate handling of vaccines during disaster or power outage

Performance Area:
• Ability to supervise clinic staff including immunization nurses, as needed.
• Assessing the quality of vaccination process in vaccination centers and adjusting the flow of beneficiaries as needed.
• Ensuring that any staff who are involved in vaccine handling and administration are properly trained.
• Assists in the development and revision of vaccine policies, procedures and protocols, as required.

Essential Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Nursing,
  • Business, Public Health, or other related health or business field.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Graduate degree in public health, health management or related field.

Essential Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of satisfactory working experience.
  • Experience working with vaccines.

Desirable Experience:

  • NGO experience
  • Experience in Primary Health care
  • Experience in COVID Vaccines.

Essential Competency:

  • Good command of written and spoken Arabic and English
  • Good command of Microsoft
  • Office including Excel and
  • PowerPoint

Desirable Competency:

  • Good writing and reporting skills.
  • Good leadership skills.
  • Good communication skills.
