Web Development Consultant

Website overview and Development Objectives

This consultancy will be contracted and undertaken under the supervision of ALEF – act for human rights.

The Consultant, working together with the Project Officer, will ensure that the website is reflective of the needs of PASC project. The consultant will be expected to update PASC’s website to provide information about PASC project updates on its activities, and key stakeholders.

The Consultant will also be in charge of uploading all kind of material such as reports, briefs, statements, or videos, extract data when needed, address technical issues such as fixing bugs and glitches, and provide solutions to urgent issues. s

Deliverables

The consultant will be expected to be:

• Able to fix technical issues and bugs in website.
• Able to create new pages, upload videos and documents.
• Able to extract data about site usage and areas for improvement.
• Available when needed for urgent issues or tight deadlines.
• Able Willing to provide trainings to others who will facilitate the site, and create access for new users.

Website requirements

• Easy upload of documents, videos, and fillable forms or online tests.
• Forum for discussion should be easy to use and to add subjects to.
• Sidebar with updates of twitter and Facebook posts from all PASC members.
• Links to other related sites, especially ALEF Website.
• Capable of sending notifications to members about new uploads or responses to comments and discussions in the forum.
