UNV ICT Support Assistant

Under the direct supervision of Information Communication Technology (ICT) Associate, the National UN Youth Volunteer will:

Assist with ICT inventory distribution, storage, and records management;

Support the Service desk team with handling service calls in Service Gateway. This includes assigning and following up on tasks;

Perform daily checks on ICT resources including conferencing, access and office supplies, setup and equipment in conference rooms;

Update and maintain mailing lists;

Facilitate on-boarding procedures using electronic checklist;

Prepare written materials – in English - and documentation as per business needs;

Assist with administrative maintenance of emergency equipment, including solar energy units and satellite phones;

Assist with stock keeping and distribution of ICT consumable items (e.g. toners, accessories);

Coordinate and follow-up with maintenance company about laptops and printers in repairs;

Any other related tasks as may be required or assigned by the supervisor;
