- Provide interpretation services for the selection interviews that will be conducted in person or by video conference with representatives of various resettlement countries.
- Assist with the set-up of the video interviews, explaining the interview process to the refugees.
- Provide ad hoc support in written translation when requested by the delegation.
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of the progress and any issues during the interview.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
NB. The interpreter is expected to maintain a level of neutrality during his/her interpretation operations, avoiding to provide his/her personal points of view during the delivering of the message and keeping the interview content
