Director

Duties and Responsibilities:

Human Resources

 Assists in hiring staff

  • Is responsible for employee management
  • Ensures that staff works according to the values of Ayadina Association
  • Performs regular appraisals of staff
  • Mentors staff and organizes training when needed
  • Makes sure that programs are run efficiently
  • Is responsible for annual staff calendars 

Visual and Performing Arts

  • Strives, in coordination with the AEP coordinator, to make Ayadina a hub of artistic endeavors
  • Is responsible for the artistic direction of events

Senior Citizens’ Club

  • Oversees the planning and implementation of the Senior Citizens’ Club

Fundraising

  • Undertakes research for grants and applies for grants
  • Leads the yearly fundraising strategy and planning
  • Oversees the coordination of fundraising events  
  • Ensures that donors are regularly informed and updated

Relationship with the Board

  • Attends Board of Directors meetings upon invitation
  • Presents for approval the annual budget proposal to the Board of Director in cooperation with the association’s accountant
  • Ensures that monthly financial statements are submitted to the president to be shared with the BOD
  • Presents quarterly narrative reports to the President and annual narrative reports to the Board of Directors

Communication

  • Speaks and writes fluent Arabic and English – French would be a plus
  • Builds relationships with the population of Nabaa and the outside community
  • Promotes the association locally and internationally
  • Oversees regular postings on the association’s social media platforms
  • Oversees regular updates of the association’s website   
  • Publishes   the association’s newsletter
  • Is in charge of communication with the Ministry of Social Affairs, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Interior  
  • Performs all tasks related to Ayadina operations as directed by the President

  • Implement relevant activities and programs that benefit the target community
