Maintenance Officer for the Training & Development Center in Jounieh

Main Role

The Training Center Maintenance Officer ensures that the facility is operational and well maintained 24/7, performs preventive, basic maintenance and coordinates with external contactors for scheduled and/or emergency maintenance. The maintenance officer also assists with the setting up of the location before and after events.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Ensures that basic facilities (water, heating, cooling, sanitation, electricity,) are well maintained and operational at all times
  2. Supervises cleaning staff and contractors and ensures the cleanliness of the center at all times
  3. Performs preventive & basic maintenance
  4. Coordinates, accompanies and supervises contractors as they perform routine or emergency maintenance
  5. Assists with any emergency requests in case of equipment failures
  6. Oversees renovations and refurbishments
  7. Provides monthly reports about the consumption of Diesel, internet, etc.
  8. Greets and welcomes guests to the training center
  9. Works during weekends and sometimes at night

Function Specific Experience

  • Experience in electrical and wood work
  • Experience in construction and maintenance works
  • Customer service attitude
  • Experience in the Red Cross is highly preferred

***** Living location has to be close to training center for response in emergencies
