Community Engagement Supervisor - Akkar / T5

The Community Engagement Supervisor will be responsible of supervising a team of community volunteers and leading them to implement registration activities for COVID-19 vaccine and referral to vaccination sites in the different areas. He/she will be in charge of overseeing and following up on the daily activities of the team leaders and volunteers, providing support and guidance to team members, building their capacity and reporting any concern to her/his management.

Responsibilities and Essential Functions

1. Follow up with the team leaders on the awareness, registration and referral activities for COVID-19 vaccine
2. Assist, support and resolve all issues faced.
3. Monitor registration activities on MoPH vaccine platform and make sure all information are accurate and correct.
4. Provide full support in any inquires and personal assistance field teams might require.
5. Supervise and provide on-the-job coaching on the registration activities whenever needed
6. Ensure that targets are reached in the different areas
7. Link the field teams to the vaccination sites in the different areas
8. Maintain a good relationship and coordinate with different stakeholders involved in this activity (vaccination site supervisors, municipalities…)
9. Perform other duties as required or assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSA): 

• Self-motivated and initiative taker
• Organized
• Good public speaking and communication skills.
• Dynamic personality with strong social, interpersonal and intercultural skills
• Good report writing skills.
• Ability to communicate with vulnerable populations.
• Willingness to use personal car
• Fluency in writing, reading and speaking Arabic is necessary

Experience:  

• 2-3 years of work experience
• Previous experience in working with vulnerable populations is an advantage.

Working Conditions

               Willingness to use personal car and travel to the field on a daily basis
