Kindergarten Coordinator

The KG coordinator will be responsible for the multiple aspects of the project implementation including the curriculum, the center, the staff, archiving and data recording, and evaluation of the staff performance with coordination with the project coordinator.

Job Purpose:

• Coordinate the educational services provided in the kindergarten and ensure good quality education is being delivered through a fully equipped staff

Responsibilities:

• Outreach to the community concerning the services of the KG
• Set an annual plan for the curriculum given and ensure its implementation
• Follow-up with the team of teachers on schedules, attendance, and daily in-class plans
• Follow-up on the capacity building of the team of teachers
• Evaluate the team of teachers and their relevant performance with coordination with the project coordinator
• Manage the KG’s expenditure on a monthly basis
• Ensure the center is adequately equipped for the progress of the services
• Record and archive all information about the attending students
• Report the progress of the KG on a weekly basis to the project coordinator
• Report the performance of the teachers on a timely basis to the project coordinator
• Report the main progresses of the KG in a central meeting on a bi-weekly basis
• Maintain proper communication with the project coordinator

Requirements:

• BA in Education or any other relevant field
• One to two years of previous relevant experience
• Knowledge of the curriculums and methods used in a KGs
• Fluency in English language (spoken and written)
• Sensitivity to different communities
• High organizational and management skills
• High leadership skills
• High adaptability to new settings
