M & E Consultant (Part time)

Responsibilities And Obligations:

• Reviewing and adapting existing quantitative and qualitative reporting and evaluation tools to ensure timely and accurate data is generated, analyzed and diffused.
• Responsible for integrating the projects’ logical framework within the system, diffusing its key performance indicators and determining their collection method.
• Following up and coordinating closely on the progress report timely collection and consolidation of relevant information in monthly, quarterly and yearly comprehensive reports with analysis.
• Providing technical guidance to relevant team members on the reporting tools, aiming at setting up and piloting an efficient reporting system.
• Determining means of verification for each indicator in compliance with the donors’ requirement. Following up closely and regularly with concerned team members on their documentation and sharing with donors.
• Meet regularly with Project manager, legal unit coordinator and data management officer to provide input, updates and inform the project implementation.

Educational Background, Experience And Needed Skills  

• University degree (statistics, social science or a related discipline).
• Minimum 3 years of experience within the development / humanitarian sector.
• Proven technical skills in monitoring and evaluation, including experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Strong analytical, presentation and reporting skills.
• Strong data management, data analysis and indicators tracking skills.
• Demonstrated ability to build capacity of others.
• Strong planning, organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to visit teams in different offices.
• Professional English level required.

Conditions

• 10-15 days per month
• Office work and area visits when needed.
• Working hours at himaya: from 9:00 am till 5:00 pm.
