Community Based Training Focal Person (CBT)

The René Moawad Foundation has a zero tolerance to Sexual Exploitation and Abuse of beneficiaries. Protection from Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) is everyone’s responsibility and all staff are required to adhere to the Code of Conduct, that enshrines principles of PSEA, always (both during work hours and outside work hours). Familiarization with, and adherence to, the Code of Conduct is an essential requirement of all staff, in addition to related mandatory training. All staff must ensure that they understand and act in accordance with this clause.

The René Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking a “Community Based Training Focal Person (CBT)” for its UNICEF-funded “Supporting vulnerable girls and boys with learning, soft and hard skills and employability in the North” Project. The project aims to Increase access of Lebanese and non-Lebanese youth (15 – 24 years) to technical and vocational training and innovative skills building programmes for improved professional readiness and employability in North Lebanon.

 Position summary

The CBT focal person will be responsible of the day-to-day field operations of RMF project, which will be implemented in North Lebanon.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Facilitate and take part of the implementation of project activities specifically those related to Technical and Vocational Education Training in targeted areas.
• Summarize, evaluate and update on a regular basis the activities in accordance with the established planning schedules.
• Maintain regular contact with local partners
• Liaise with other organizations, if needed.
• Determine any changes to the plan and report to the Project Manager.
• Contribute to the monthly activities report.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders
• Assist in collecting all needed data.
• Identify and report success stories.

• Ability to write clear and concise reports.
• Excellent knowledge of English and Arabic; French is a plus

 Qualification

• Should be holder of a degree in Agriculture Engineering and technical skills with at least 3 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience in NGOs field operations
