In particular, he/she will:
1. Supervise and support the work of health outreach/ TB treatment follow-up field staff and community health volunteers in the area of responsibility and ensure that all assigned tasks are completed and reported promptly.
2. Plan, coordinate, implement and supervise assigned health activities. This includes increasing community awareness, coordination with identified partners, visits to health facilities, support referral / transportation of patients / samples, treatment support and support to families of patients. Submit detailed workplans including movement plans every month for these activities and report on them within the first week of the following month
3. Work closely with identified IOM and NTP partners in the area, supporting networks of CHWs and working with them to increase identification of TB and linking identified patients to diagnosis and treatment
4. Ensure regular, structured weekly visits to identified NTP centres in the area of responsibility; visits should be documented through an approved checklist of activities to be completed during the visit; coordinate closely with and support NTP centre managers assisting including providing education and treatment support to patients as needed
5. .
6. Coordinate all activities conducted by IOM for the NTP in the area of responsibility , including but not limited to data collection, purchase and distribution of materials, arranging trainings and meetings.
7. Participate in assessments/surveys of the beneficiaries’ health needs and needs of the supported tuberculosis centers.
8. Coordinate other IOM health activities including primary healthcare and research projects, as assigned
9. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Education and Experience
a) Undergraduate/postgraduate degree in a clinical health field (preferably medicine or nursing); b) minimum two years of relevant work experience, including managerial responsibilities on field level; c) experience in the public health sector in Lebanon; knowledge of project development, implementation and monitoring is an advantage; d) demonstrated understanding of the humanitarian system through work experience and/or studies; e) willingness to undertake frequent travel to field locations across his/her area of responsibility.
