Research Officer

Roles and Responsibilities

The research tasks shall comprise, not limited to, references, documents, studies, reports, key actors and stakeholders and concerned think tanks according to the following: 

  1. Collect and compile data, and contribute to the preparation and finalization of documents and reports for the various Project activities.  This includes, not limited to, performing research on related training tools, advocacy materials, previous initiatives similar to the Project, conferences/workshops/training sessions, policies and procedures and other related documents.
  2. Perform other related research tasks and provide substantive and technical support to the Project’s experts, when deemed necessary.
  3. Maintain administrative files, document and archive all researches and material as per ACRLI’s archiving system;
  4. Analyze, Interpret and Report Research Results/findings to management.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  1. Bachelor’s degree in research, law or related field required; 
  2. Extensive and proven experience in field of research
  3. A good understanding of the development and constitutional legal issues.
  4. At least 3 years of research experience in legal and/or judicial reform projects.
  5. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  6. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with teams.
  7. Fluency in Arabic and English.
  8. Computer skills include M.S. Word, Power Point, and Internet;
