Project officer- Homs

Main Tasks:

• Follow up on the implementation of project activities implemented by the partner to ensure the project is completed in a timely and accountable manner;
• Coordinate with the field team of the partner and other departments in Dorcas to prepare and implement project monitoring and evaluation plans in close collaboration with the M&E officer;
• Set up, plan, supervise the project at the field level to ensure the successful implementation of all project’s activities, the generation of planned outputs and attainment of key project objectives;
• Make sure that the project activities are implemented in line with the set goal and objectives of the project;
• Support the partner in order to plan the tasks of the field staff in close coordination with the project coordinator and the M&E;
• Conduct regular monitoring visits to the partner and provide reports and suggestions to improve implementation in collaboration with the M&E officer;
• Collect data from the partner and make sure the beneficiary database of the project is updated by the partner and collaborate with the M&E officer on that;
• Make sure that the partner submits regular narrative and finanical reports;
• Liaise with M&E officer to provide necessary technical support in reporting and implementation of project activities;
• Produce internal report on weekly and monthly basis;
• Facilitate project communication between the partner team and Dorcas team;
• Register minutes of meetings and follow up with the concerned parties;
• Maintain flexibility to take on added responsibilities as and when needed.
