Step Forward Initiative is an internship program or a skills-based volunteering (SBV) program that empowers young people to gain the skills needed for employment. It offers the responsibilities, experiences, and challenges of starting a career through personal contributions to community development.

We are hiring a talented Content Creator Intern to join our team. 

Content Creator Intern Responsibilities:

• Create content (original text, images, video, etc.) that is informative, build meaningful connections, and encourages audience engagement across multiple channels to support business strategy and goals
• Upload daily posts and stories on different social media platforms.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends
• Collaborate with other employees and interns to share ideas and work efficiently
• Create a plan for social media strategies monthly.
• Assist in the growth of the program by raising awareness and through various social media platforms (Instagram, Linked In, and TikTok).
• Interact with followers by communicating and answering questions through social pages.

Requirements

• 0-1 year of content creation experience
• Strong knowledge of social media platforms.
• Ability to work with Canva and other content creating tools
• Familiarity with video editing 
• Superior communication and interpersonal skills
• Works well under pressure/short deadlines
• Able to interact well with other team members
• Creative mind-set
• Must be passionate about social media
• Must be a self-driven multi-tasker who is comfortable working in a deadline-driven environment

Education: University Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Advertising, Graphic Design or related fields. 

Language: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.

Additional Information

This is an unpaid internship. We offer a flexible schedule of 5 days/week with a minimum of 30 hours.

The internship’s duration is two months.
