Job Placement Officer

Promote and participate in outreach activities directed at connecting with employers to engage them in the DST program

Conduct outreach to local and international employers who are willing to hire job seekers

Assess employers needs within the center geographical location

Identify, contact, and build relationships with employers to educate about the DST program and its advantages

Prepare and screen viable prospective employers for internship opportunities

Network with Chamber of Commerce, job providers, and professional institutions for recruiting purposes

Assist in connecting students directly with

Support students during their work-based learning experience

Review employers feedback after any placement

Track and record all contacts, as well as complete internal and reporting as directed.

Prepare ad hoc, weekly and monthly reports to “Career Counselor & Employer Outreach Officer" including necessary information and recommendations

Perform other related duties as assigned.
