Integration and Continuity Officer

Duties & Responsabilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluate the benefeciarie’s capacity and weakness
  • Create assessment tools to use before, during and after the candidates  interviews
  • Receive targeted beneficiaries within the placement department, seeking to further their education, seeking a job opportunity, or create a startup
  • Draft an application for every candidate while recording all the necessary information
  • Conduct frequent market studies to evaluate and assess the market needs
  • Assess the candidate file and provide the adequate service for the professional integration; i.e. training, coaching or placement.
  • Develop capacity building programs to help beneficiaries regain and gain skills
  • Identify and tailor free vocational and soft skills training that build the capacities of the potential candidates, and job seekers 
  • Prepare job seekers for return to employment by consulting with employers; determine potential employee difficulties; retrain employees; and help employers understand job accommodations.
  • Provide candidates with professional guidance and job readiness (job interview, life skills, cv writing, etc.).
  • Assist in CV and cover letter writing, as well as coaching sessions.
  • Prepare content for professional guidance 
  • Evaluate results and progress on beneficiaries.
  • Follow up monthly, quarterly and yearly with each candidate and
  • Update beneficiary file accordingly
  • Issue different types of reports as requested
  • Accumulate data on  companies, SMEs,  Academic, and Vocational centers
  • Promote the mission and objectives of the placement department among companies and NGOs
  • Assist, facilitate and participate in raising awareness 
  • Tailor and initiate connections of the employment department  
  • Assist in other required tasks as needed.

 

Qualifications & Requirments:

  • BA in social work, Industrial psychology or any relative field or experience
  • Keen knowledge of ergonomics
  • Experience working with local communities
  • Ability and interest to work with a multi-ethnic team in a culturally appropriate manner
  • Significant knowledge and understanding of the current political, economic, cultural and historical context of Lebanon preferred
  • Understanding of the recruitment processes
  • Previous experience working with recruitment offices 
  • Previous experience in the livelihood sector
  • Ability to work on Excel and understand the logic of recruitment software
  • Understanding the Lebanese Labor law and Social Security law
