Strategy Consultant– ACT SMART INNOVATION HUB – QOOT Cluster

QOOT Cluster is the first Lebanese agri-food consortium that brings together Lebanese enterprises, rising SMEs, multinational companies, knowledge providers, support institutions, and investment entities to collaboratively catalyze and innovate the agri-food sector in Lebanon.

Initiated by Berytech and the Kingdom of the Netherlands with the active guidance of FoodValley, Netherland’s leading agri-food cluster, QOOT Cluster was born out of a resolve to equip Lebanon with the resources and processes that have made the Netherlands one of the leading agricultural innovators and food exporters worldwide.

The vision is to lead the agri-food innovation scene in the region and put Lebanon back on the global agri-food innovation map.

QOOT Cluster seeks a Strategy Consultant to develop a SOP methodology to link industry with academia to support the evolution of the industry products through R&D. The scope of work is defined below:

• Set QOOT Cluster’s positioning and value proposition within the joint industry-academia linkages and projects
• Identify which industries and accordingly which academic partners to liaise
• Define a clear procedure to link industries with academia through QOOT Cluster
• Build on the outcomes of the linkages between academia and industry

• At least 5 years of experience as a Strategy Consultant, Quality manager, R&D Manager or similar role
• Possess strong strategic knowledge and skills
• Is well-connected with agri-food industry and academia
• In-depth knowledge of the quality management, R&D and best practices
• Reporting skills
