- Responsible for the implementation and coordination of the educational activities of the project (in compliance with the project work plan, internal regulation and AVSI values)
- Responsible for the coordination/ supervision of the team (Education assistant, education officers and education field coordinators) assigned to the action in close collaboration with the project manager (work plan, information sharing, weekly schedule).
- Coordinating with the outreach team dedicated to the activities (cross cuttings – AVSI projects) and providing with updated data base and accurate information on beneficiaries.
- Ensuring a qualitative implementation of the activities: MEHE’s pathway and criteria are respected and children referred for ALP and BTS campaign are followed up closely.
- Responsible for the identification of location of activities’ implementation (municipality, schools, centers) and establishing contacts with local authorities and local actors (CBOs, NGO)
- Support the field coordinators to provide monthly budget forecast and ensure overall budget forecast is timely shared with PM
- contributing to a mapping of actors/partners/stakeholders of the area of intervention, with outreach team
- Providing reports on monthly basis in order to follow up on the activities of the project (data as well as narrative)
- Closely working with the Project Manager to prepare the work plan and the narrative report
- Support the field coordinators to provide the office coordinator/Accountants with accurate payment tables/time sheets, and coordinate with the HR and Office Coordinator for the Volunteers agreements (when applicable)
- In collaboration with the Communication department ensure quality material is available for visibility and communication purpose
- Participating to regular meeting at area level with the educational team
- Participating to thematic sector working group
- Participating to and/or organizing project staff training with other AVSI staff
- Perform other duties within area of responsibility, as requested by the supervisor.
