PSL Field Coordinator Mount Lebanon

Position Summary:

The Rene Moawad Foundation (RMF) is seeking a “Field Coordinator -ML” for its USAID-funded “Promoting Sustainable Livelihoods- PSL” Activity, which was awarded to RMF in September 2020. The PSL activity will be implemented over the course of 5 years and aims to improve the livelihoods of residents of target municipalities through training, technical assistance, infrastructure rehabilitation, and marketing and improve and upgrade existing assets in their municipalities. The PSL goal is to sustain the livelihoods of 31,500 households across 7 clusters joining 105 municipalities in the North, Bekaa, South and Mount Lebanon areas (first phase).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The field coordinator will be responsible of the day-to-day field operations of RMF PSL activities that will be implemented in the Mount Lebanon area. His/her responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Actively taking part of PSL assessments at targeted communities.
• Facilitating implementation of PSL interventions in targeted areas.
• Summarizing, evaluating and updating on a regular basis the schedules in accordance with the established work plans.
• Maintaining regular contact with Municipalities and local partners.
• Liaising with other PSL consortium organizations.
• Determining any changes to the plan and reporting to the Operation Manager.
• Contributing to the monthly activities report.
• Collecting all needed data as part of the M&E process, environmental compliance, and, Architecture and Engineering construction quality control plan.
• Identifying and reporting success stories.

Qualifications

• Should be holder of a Lebanese Baccalaureate degree with at least 4 years of relevant work experience or Bachelor degree with 2 years of experience.
• Should possess a car or other means of transportation.
• Knowledge of the Lebanese municipal context and development processes and institutions;
• Proficiency in report writing, case studies and other related documentation;
• Proficiency in English and Arabic; French is a plus.
