Non-profit Crowdfunding Trainer

Basmeh and Zeitooneh is a registered Lebanese organization, committed to serving refugees and vulnerable communities in Lebanon, through four community centers across the country. The organization runs educational, relief, livelihoods, and protection programs, and aims to serve as an inclusive and supportive focal point for the entire community.

Job Purpose: Deliver Nonprofit Crowdfunding Training for the B&Z communication department.

Major Activities :

Definition: Nonprofit crowdfunding is a form of fundraising encouraging the public to donate to an organization.

Training Course Content: 

• Overview of the basics of nonprofit crowdfunding and the strategies needed to design, launch and manage a successful nonprofit crowdfunding campaign.
• Factors to consider when choosing a platform.
• How to identify an audience of target donors?
• How to choose crowdfunding target and forecast income
• Peer-to-peer crowdfunding and leveraging the community for support.
• Building a communication and marketing strategy for social good crowdfunding campaigns and putting strategy to action to drive donations.
• How to turn one-off donors into long-term supporters.
• Following up on a successful crowdfunding campaign and reporting to donors.

Performance:

• The trainer will be providing 3 days of training for B&Z staff
• The training will be delivered online
• This would help to fundraise new projects
• Up to 5 Staff will be given each 3 days of training sessions. 1 day for reporting.
• The trainer will coordinate closely with the B&Z HR department and with the manuals of the tools for revisions, brainstorming, and for best practices approach

Reporting: 

• The final reporting package should be delivered after the training directly

Key Performance Indicators : 

• Working within the principles of the Code of Conduct.
• Ensure that a safe environment is provided for the staff in the training,
• Create positive communication with the team.

Delegation of Authority: Reporting in Case of any violation in Safe Guarding Policy.

Education & Experience : 

• University degree in a related field
• 3 to 5 years of job experience relevant to the function, in a comparable environment with non-governmental organizations.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Prior experience in delivering training according to tight deadlines.
• Professional experience in nonprofit crowdfunding training delivery.
• Ability to deal with administration and documentation.
• Knowledge of English written and spoken.
