Mobile EPI Registration Application MERA Officer

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Despite the availability of data of vaccination in different systems (Logistics management system, PHENICS, EPI, MERA) and the different system are used by different parties, the integration between the systems is a crucial to have one consolidated data (reports and dashboards). This position is housed at the Ministry of Public Health.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

-Unification of children’s data set between MERA, Care givers, Private sector applications and PHENICS

-Assessing data quality and flow of data between different systems and design and implement data quality enhancement strategy, to ensure complete data flow from warehouse to Qadaa offices to service delivery points (PHCCs and dispensaries)

-Review the security standards used in the current applications, identify and recommend solutions for issues if found

-Development and insertion of M&E (performance) indicators in the vaccine dashboard

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

- Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Web Development, or a related field.

- At least two years direct experience in programming, preferably in mobile development,

- Knowledge and competency in information systems

- Experience with third party libraries and APIs

- Strong knowledge in SQL server 2016

- Knowledge in the following technologies and/or languages: Web API, c# , vb.net , java , Team Foundation Server , MVC4 , JQuery , JavaScript

- Ability to work with a varied of disciplines and levels of staff across departments

- Good in English and Arabic
