MERA School Officer (2 Vacancies)

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

MERA School Officer position is responsible for the implementation/coordination support required to ensure quality and timely performance of the MERA. Functions under the direct supervision of the IT Chief Officer.

JOB FUNCTIONS:

Train users in dispensaries, private and public schools, nurseries, private pediatricians and any other entity that may function within the Expanded Program on Immunization on the MERA (group sessions, one on one sessions, field visits)

· Train MERA users in all relevant entities used (public and private schools, nurseries, orphanages, private physicians, community outreach, dispensaries, PHC centers)

· Support and monitor the implementation of MERA across all gateways where it is used (public and private schools, nurseries, orphanages, private physicians, community outreach, dispensaries, PHC centers)

· Any other tasks as required by the director of the EPI and IT Chief Officer.

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or equivalent.

· The officer must have more than one year experience with training and support on similar systems

· Demonstrated ability to work in a team-based environment

· Ability to work in a fast-paced working environment.

· Enjoy maintaining/enhancing code to meet changing customer/industry needs

· Have a “customer-service” orientation

· Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication, problem solving and team facilitation skills, required.

· Ability to work with a varied of disciplines and levels of staff across departments

· Fluent in English and Arabic (French is of added value)
