2D video Animator

LTA is looking for a 2D animator for an explanatory video of 1 min (more or less).  The subject and script will be interpreted later on.

Responsibilities:

• Liaising with LTA Media & Coms Unit team regarding the style, method and execution of the animation to be produced;
• Developing storyboards based on the script;
• Designing frames and characters;
• Choosing color palettes, style and general look of animation;
• Preparing illustrations or rough sketches of materials, including storyboards to assist in staff visualizing end of product during planning and development of project;
• Translating the video script from English to Arabic (subtitles).

Functional competencies:

• Very good knowledge of tools and methodologies essential to develop 2D animation;
• Knowledge of standard industry animation production processes;
• Apple Motion and/or Adobe After Effects skills;
• Proficiency in the use Adobe software (After Effects, Adobe Media Encoder, Premiere, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop);
• Great attention to details.
