The Knowledge Workshop (KW) is looking for a designer to work on its upcoming publication that explores connections between feminism and ecology in Lebanon, with written and visual texts engaging with personal, political, literary and socio-economic aspects of these fields.
About KW: A feminist organization based in Beirut working on storytelling and oral history, researching women’s stories and histories, and developing feminist publications and resources.
Expected timeframe for this position: November 2021-February 2022.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates must have:
- Over five years of experience in graphic design
- Experience in design of print publications and books
- Experience in design tools (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Familiarity with feminism and environmental topics and issues is a plus
