Introduction:

LOWER in partnership with Oxfam GB is working together to contribute to a decent, and economically sustainable business environment for vulnerable populations that were affected by the Beirut Port Blast. Within the project LOWER is contributing under the Output 1: Decent work agenda and compliance with labor rights are promoted. There were, we are looking for a skilled team to take part in the areas of intervention that are covered by LOWER as follows:

The Lebanese Observatory for Workers & Employees Rights-L.O.W.E.R. is a Lebanese independent non-profit organization, reg # 365. LOWER is responsible for the implementation of the project activities between 1 September 2021 and 31 December 2021 with the following objective: Provide coordinated and integrated economic support to affected SMEs and employees, focusing on the most vulnerable groups, within Beirut and across the country. Activities include, but are not excluded to, the following:

 Activity 1.1: Monitor the decent working conditions and the adherence to the labor rights among the SMEs and SEs that will be supported by the project to recover 

Activity 1.2: Implement awareness activities to ensure that all business development activities implemented by Oxfam GB and other livelihood actors comply with the decent work agenda and labor rights

The outcome of the service provider work: 

The main outcome of the required service is conducting the graphic design work as assigned by LOWER that will include set of varied media & social media tools. They include brochure, manual, posters, social media posts layout, infographics, and others

Operation:

• Conduct regular coordination with LOWER focal person
• Design and apply the donor’s branding requirements/policy
• Design of the materials for printing and electronic distribution
• Obtain necessary modifications as requested

Eligibility requirements:

• Strong theoretical and practical background in graphic design, including the use of design software’s
• Show a clear and mature style of design, demonstrating an understanding of the communication requirements of NGOs.
• Proven experience of graphic production from start to published/printed product with knowledge of printing processes and color management.
• Good understanding of new and evolving technologies and digital platforms.
• Knowledge of standard software packages

Payment distribution:

Payments of the budget will be processed upon delivery of each media tool

Reservations & Confidentiality:

The contractor undertakes to maintain confidentiality on all information that is not in the public domain.

Applicants must submit the following:

• Examples of previous tools they have explicitly designed and produced.
• Financial proposal, including a detailed quotation to produce the different types of media tools.
