General objectives and tasks:
1- Update on daily basis the OMEGA system.
2- Handle the purchasing at the ecotourism center:
- Create purchase order lists recording all the needs of products and services.
- Organize tenders in order to select suppliers able to meet the predefined specifications / order.
- Negotiate with suppliers and define the terms of the contract (tariffs, delivery times …)
- Monitor the exchanges and follow up on a daily basis with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Set up a procurement plan with selected suppliers.
- Manage emergency situations: delays in deliveries, breakdown of supply, error in orders, etc.
- Oversee the level of sales in order to anticipate a future supply.
- Prepare and place orders.
3- Cost controlling:
- Analyze daily sales figures and report them to the F&B manager.
- Monitor discrepancies and take appropriate measures.
- Identify and report on a daily, weekly and monthly basis food and beverage costs.
- Analyze the purchasing and the consumption of food and beverages.
- Update menu prices on the system.
- Identify, analyze and report information regarding: Sales Analysis, Revenues, etc.
4- Handle the purchasing at Taanayel center:
- Research for potential vendors.
- Coordinate and evaluate offers from suppliers for customer service and production units.
- Search for the best suppliers for the centers’ units.
- Compare and evaluate offers and choose the most adequate as per the established SOP.
- Track orders and ensure right delivery.
- Prepare cost analysis reports.
- Maintains a list of approved suppliers and perform at least a yearly supplier evaluation.
- Ensures that the procurement process in Taanayel conforms to the one adopted by Logistics department.
- Assist the logistics department in establishing contacts with suppliers in the Bekaa area.
- Issues a monthly report on procurement.
5- Coach and manage the store keepers at the centers.
- Supervise the storekeepers to maintain organized warehouses.
- Track entries and exits reported from store keepers at the centers.
- Ensure proper filing and archiving of logistics related files and folders.
Position requirements:
Professional skills:
- Knowledge of logistics, accounting and financial tools.
- Knowledge in the supply chain.
- Previous experience in purchasing and cost controlling (preferred in the F&B sector).
