Unit Supervisor(Clothing Collecting, Sorting and Processing)

General objectives and tasks:

1- Responsible in the intake of donated goods including clothing, bedding, towels, etc..

• Selecting and sorting clothing items by category, including seasonal, vintage, and salvage (recycling) and classifying the objects received (shoes, clothes, underwear, toys, bedding…) with the support of the team.
• Sending inappropriate clothing to the workshops of the production units for secondary use.
• Examining items for any defects including holes, stains, or other issues.
• Pricing of goods prior to store display in the store sales area.
• Maintaining a safe, organize, and clean work environment at all times.
• Send broken plastic toys for recycling, books to the Arcenciel library, medical items to the units concerned, etc.

2- Management of the collection and sorting workshop team:

• Supervise team members and their respective work.
•  Distribute tasks in an efficient way to maximize team productivity.
•  Supervise and train his team as needed.
•  Manage conflicts and resolve problems that may arise within the team while minimizing damage.

3- Manage the trips of the drivers for collection and redistribution:

• Prepare the daily route map and ensure that it is respected by the drivers.
• Make sure that the drivers are familiar with traffic laws and road safety rules and therefore respect.
• Actively respond to any complaint from third parties at this level by taking the necessary measures.

Position requirements:

Professional skills:

• Know the Lebanese regions and the traffic laws.
• Processing experience preferred.
• Have a working knowledge of clothing brands, quality and price.

Working Schedule: Monday till Friday from 09:00 am till 05:00 pm.

Contract Type: CDD 1 year(Renewable).
