Electrical/ Power Electronics Engineer

SAWA is currently searching for an electronic/electrical engineer to work with our established WaSH team in our Office in Baalbeck.

The electronic/electrical engineer will design, develop and maintain a system and components for a mobile, remote, and digital flowmeter for desludging and water trucking services provided under WaSH project at SAWA. The work will focus on quality, reliability, safety, and sustainability.

• Design High Speed digital circuit to meet systems requirements
• Complete worst case analysis of circuits in area of responsibility
• Generate documentation in areas of responsibility
• Define stress test routines required to validate functional sections
• Formulate test plans to ensure component level performance
• Handle validation testing to ensure performance over temperature and voltage extremes
• Design, inspect, test, and update electronic systems, components, equipment, and software.
• Manage different types of power systems, such as alternating and direct current.
• Liaise with engineers to ensure quality projects are completed to specifications.
• Ensure all equipment and products meet safety regulations.
• Observe existing processes and making recommendations for improvement.
• Develop effective maintenance, testing, and quality control procedures.
• Show initiative and keeping up with advancements in Electronics.
• Represent Sawa at meetings and deliver presentations if required.
• Write specifications, instructions, reports, and handling other required administrative duties.
• On call to respond to emergencies and breakdowns of systems.
• Other duties as assigned by the Project manager.

• Engineer will cover electrical and electronics work related to WaSH projects and Pilots, including PV driven systems.
• Engineer will cover software development and real time monitoring and controlling of WaSH systems.
• Engineer will design and implement new innovations for the efficient provision and monitoring of WaSH services.

• Experienced in Electrical/ electronic design and diagrams using relevant software.
• Experienced in the design and development of PCB boards and implementation of electronics circuit.
• Experienced in functioning actuators and sensors related to electrical and electronics design.
• Experienced in the design and implementation of logic controllers (PLC, Arduino, PIC etc.) and relevant coding languages and software.
• Strong analytical skills, solid reporting methods.
• Solid commend of fluent English spoken and written.
• Excellent commend of Windows, Word and Excel is eligible.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent research and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Reports to: WaSH Coordinator.

Bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic engineering, Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronics or any relevant degree.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in the aforementioned fields.
