logistician- Batroun Community center

The Logistician is assigned to provide logistics support Batroun community center, as well as identifying suitable suppliers and stock keeping in close collaboration with the services and support manager and with other peer colleagues.

The social worker is accountable to the community center manager. S/he will be based in Batroun CC with frequent visits to the field and to the main office of Tabitha in Dora or to Aley community center.

Main Tasks:

• Finding supplier to purchase materials and assist in purchasing and collecting quotations;
• Arranging the inventory in an easy-to-access manner and ensuring safe storage;
• Build and develop good relationships with suppliers and maintain them;

• Communicate with key departments: program, communication, finance and administration when needed;
• Develop inventories sheet to track received and consumed goods on daily basis to be able to prepare inventory report and share it with the donors when requested;

• Archive logistics Files and settle procurement files soft and hard copies;
• Report regularly to the CC manager and services and support manager;
• Oversee repairs and maintenance needed and logistics issues related to the community center;
• Connect and liaise with local CBOs and stakeholders;
• Assist in beneficiaries’ recruitment to attend specific activities at the community center;
• Data entry related to project implementation if needed;
• Follow up on payments with service providers and suppliers;
• Support the team members in daily tasks;
• Visit the main office in Dora when needed;
• Participate in training opportunities;
• Conduct visits to accomplish procedures related to legal assistance.
