Consultant - Electrical Engineer - Beirut - National Candidates Only

Scope of work

In light of the continuously deteriorating power situation in Lebanon – IRC Lebanon is seeking to hire an electrical engineer to complete the Power Back up Tender awarding. The Power back up tender in process of review aims at securing business continuity by providing power supply (through generators, solar or electrical charged batteries) to offices in the case of electricity back up sources cuts (mainly subscriptions or governmental).

Deliverables:

• Grading of technical proposals as per the pre-set system of IRC (will be lead and oriented by procurement focal point representing the Tender Committee)
  • Time frame: Approximately 7 working days during the period of 6 weeks
• Presenting a preference table (selection A,B and C) within a signed off report related to the selection based on technical evidence and endorsing report.
  • Time Frame: Approximately 7 working days during the period of 6 weeks

Payment Rate and Schedule:

Lump sum at the end of the project

Requirements:

• A professional– technical assessment of technical offers and review of technical data sheets submitted by tender participants to compare with the originally advertised minimum requirements by the International Rescue committee.
• Be able to provide copies of his respective certifications from accredited universities.
• Registered in the syndicate and present documents endorsing the registration.
• Present a business portfolio / resume with over 5 years of practical experience with reputable references.
• Solid experience in integrating solar powered electrical sources within existing power grids. (Portfolio/resume + references)
• Solid experience in integrating generator power into existing power grids. (Portfolio/resume + references).
• Be able to work on location within IRC offices for the grading of the offers for the period necessary for the delivery of his report.
• Accepts signing al necessary conflict of interest and other legally binding IRC documents.
• Not have taken part of the tender or is directly related (on a business or personal level) to any of the participants.
