HDC is looking for an experienced and motivated Web Development Trainer to join their team. He/She will be an active member in BRAVE Project - Building Resilient and Vibrant Environments - that is being implemented by the Arab Resource Center for Popular Arts (ARCPA/AL-JANA) – as a Lead Organization – with the support of UNICEF. The project is being implemented all across Lebanon with 6 local sub-partners. The objectives are:
Description:
The web development trainer will be responsible for preparing and delivering web development workshops in Ein El Helwe camp as well as monitoring and reporting on the technical and interpersonal skills of participants. The trainer will also be required to contribute to the technological improvement of the center’s activities.
Duties:
- Prepare and deliver web development workshops
- Monitor and report on the technical and interpersonal development of participants to the youth coordinator at HDC
- Support project’s internal monitoring and evaluation
- Performs other job-related tasks such as following-up with the attendance sheet and communicating with the participants.
- Attend meetings and training workshops that are related to Robotics and App Development workshops.
Technical Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent degree
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience
- Knowledge in backend and frontend web development
- Knowledge in Web Development Languages such as JavaScript, PHP, HTML
- Deep knowledge in Web Development Platforms including Joomla and WordPress.
- Previous experience in teaching and/or workshop delivery is a plus
- Previous experience in curriculum development is a plus
- Fluent in Arabic and English
