Position Aim: 

We are looking for an experienced and motivated robotics trainer to be responsible for preparing and delivering Robotics and MIT App Development workshops in Wavel camp and nearby gatherings as well as monitoring and reporting on the technical and interpersonal skills of participants.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Prepare and deliver robotics and App Development workshops.
• Monitor and report on the technical and interpersonal development of participants to youth coordinator.
• Support project’s internal monitoring and evaluation.
• Performs other job-related tasks such as following-up with the attendance sheet and communicating with the participants.
• Attend meetings and training workshops that are related to Robotics and App Development workshops.

Technical Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, electronics engineering, or equivalent degree.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in students’ instruction and/or training.
• Deep knowledge in Arduino microcontroller, electronics, sensors, actuators, and wiring circuits.
• Deep knowledge in developing mobile application using MIT App Inventor.
• Deep knowledge in coding languages, C/C++, Arduino sketches, drag-and-drop coding, among others.
• Ability to design and implement robotics, IOT, and electronics projects using Arduino and MIT App Inventor.
• Previous experience in curriculum development is a plus.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
