The case management Officer will play a pivotal role in the overall management of the child protection-case management, by coordinating training sessions and developing technical guidance. The CP Case Management Officer will be responsible for the coordination in support of the caseworkers and social workers. The Case Management Officer will support the implementation and monitoring of case management work under different grants.
He/ She will be responsible of managing a team of caseworkers, ensuring proper coordination with the other case management implementing agencies and delivering timely qualitative reports.
Ability to Organize and implement trainings on referral and case management when needed.
Conduct alone and / or support the caseworkers in family visits if necessary.
Ensure that files, registers and computer databases are stored confidentially and are used in an appropriate and correct manner.
Supervise and coach case workers on the identification, assessment, documentation, referral (to relevant services) and follow-up of at-risk children and families (Case Management)
Ensure that case workers respect confidentiality and follow ethical guidelines, through conducting regular meetings with the caseworkers.
Document and report the cases closed.
Ensure proper coordination between the PSS activities implemented and the case management work.

Technical Knowledge and previous experience:
Knowledge in child protection principles, SOPs, case management national SOPs,
Approximately 3 to 5 years of relevant experience, professional technical experience, including 1-year implementing humanitarian protection programs in emergency/conflict contexts
Extensive work experience of working directly in case management and social work.
Experience of having worked in NGOs or in an emergency context.
Excellent communication skills.
Experience in project management and supervision of staff
Ability to write weekly and monthly reports
Ability to work under stress
Manage time and prioritize tasks
Good communication skills including the ability to gain trust and build relationships with new communities
