Platform Moderator

Project Background

The “National Youth Engagement and Volunteering” project is establishing an online innovative platform that allows youth to register and be matched to relevant engagement volunteer opportunities near them or online. 

Moderator’s Role

• The platform moderator will be managing the day to day operational activities on the platform to make sure that response time, quality of work and activity and technical solutions can be solved immediately.
• The platform moderator to handle all inquiries received on the platform (70% IT; 30% Program), assess the nature of the inquiries, measure the urgency and rank the priority.
• The platform moderator will be coordinating with the Web designer and IT Development Company that is handling the platform, and routing respective incidents to concerned departments (internal and external).
• The moderator to solve immediately all IT related issues that might pop-up while using the platform. This might require interference after normal working hours.
• The moderator to document all incidents into the Lessons Learned Register.
• The moderator to prepare and constantly update the scripts booklet including all FAQs and share it with the steering committee.
• The moderator to ensure that all activities on the platform are aligned perfectly with the Terms and Conditions and/or Code of Conduct agreed upon by all stakeholders.
• The moderator will coordinate with the recruited IT company when needed.
