Request for Quotes (RFQ) 02-01/22: Security guards for in-kind project – Tripoli and Minieh/Dennieh

Under WFP’s in-kind 2022 Programme, DCL is requested to distribute rations for beneficiaries from Tripoli warehouse (in Bahsas area) to three distribution sites (Tripoli – Mina; Minieh and Dennieh – Syr); duration of the distribution is 5 months (February to June).

DCL is looking for a supplier to provide the following tasks:

• Provide 24/7 security for the Tripoli warehouse to protect the parcels stocked inside the warehouse, the security guard will not have access inside of the warehouse
• Provide 2 security guards per site per distribution day, the tasks of the security guards on site are clarified below the table

The estimated number of distribution days and their locations are shown in the below table (the numbers have a margin of 10% plus or minus):

Numbers of distribution days per month:

February: Tripoli 10 ; Minieh 4; Syr 5

March: Tripoli 11; Minieh 3; Syr 4

April: Tripoli 17; Minieh 6; Syr 6

May: Tripoli 11; Minieh 3; Syr 4

June: Tripoli 17; Minieh 6; Syr 6

The duty of the security guards on site:

1. One security guard at the entry of the distribution site to ensure order and the safety of the beneficiaries from any incidents of social unrest, and take the temperature of the beneficiaries, and distribute masks if needed
2. One security guard at the exit to organize the traffic outside the distribution site near the trucks
