Proud Lebanon is looking for a contractual Sports trainer.
The sports trainer should build the capacity of local sports and youth clubs to integrate concepts of violence prevention, equality, inclusion and tolerance into their activities.
The trainer will work with young men and women and will develop sport activities based on selected topics from the curriculum used for empowerment sessions.

Conditions of service and Management

• The duration of the contract is the project.
• The contractor will report to Proud Lebanon’s Director. 
• The contractor will work on a curriculum for the sessions to be delivered based on the project’s plan.
• Contractor should maintain a training report and comply with all other Proud Lebanon’s regulations such as checklists and invoices.
• Proud Lebanon’s management retains the right to suspend payment on non-compliance of terms or in the event of poor-quality work. These decisions will not be taken arbitrarily but in consultation with all relevant stakeholders.
• Contractor should abide by all Proud Lebanon’s internal regulations including the code of conduct, PSEA, Speak UP among others. 
• If the sports trainer has a physiotherapist background is a big plus.
• Remuneration: installments will be paid by the end of each month after submission of the report. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in assigned sport at professional team level as a certified Athletic Trainer for two to five years beyond Bachelor's degree, which may include a graduate assistantship
• Additional credentials of advance study in an athletic training related subject matter. Examples are: functional evaluation/rehabilitation, instrumented or manual soft tissue mobilization, Kinesiotape, etc
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word & Excel
   
• Specialized Skills
   
• Current knowledge of medical supply vendors, quality, and costs
• Ability to follow oral and written directions
• Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with student-athletes, coaching staff, medical providers, parents, and administrative staff
• Excellent written and verbal skills of those of a medical professional
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communications skills to develop effective working relationships with athletes and serve as a liaison among athletes, coaching staff, parents, physicians, and other health professionals
• Ability to travel to away contests
• Ability to use sports techniques to prevent violence including SGBV.
