Human Resources Internship

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to

RECRUITMENT

  • Arrange interviews, questions and relevant activities for candidates, with Hiring Manager and HR. 
  • Prepare Job Descriptions.
  • Screen resumes and application forms.
  • Post, update and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages and social networks.
  • Assist with the HR induction of new staff and coordinate with line managers in relation to wider induction.
  • Update GP MENA internal databases with new employee information, including contact details and employment forms.

ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT

  • Assist as first line HR Administrator concerning various requests in completing reports, data analysis, documents and requested information.
  • Data entry on HRIS and validation of added information.
  • Prepare HR-related reports as needed.
  • Responding to staff inquiries regarding HR policies, employee benefits, and other HR-related matters.
  • Participate in organizing company events and careers days.

OTHER TASKS

  • Ad hoc requests as required by HR Officer according to workload, urgency and importance.

Requirements 

  • Organized, dependable and detail-oriented.
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames.
  • Commitment to Greenpeace’s values and goals.
  • Flexible attitude to shifting work priorities.
  • Humor and positive attitude to get things done.
  • Basic knowledge in MENA countries Labor Law is considered a plus.
  • Familiarity with HRIS, ATS and resume databases.
  • Experience with MS Office & Google Drive.
  • Good understanding of full-cycle recruitment.

Qualification 

Education: 

  • University Degree in Human Resources Management or related field.

Language: 

  • Strong verbal and writing communication skills in Arabic and English.

GP MENA internships program offers interns a better understanding of the organisation’s goals and objectives and insight into how an international organisation operates in  a multicultural environment and allows them to enhance their educational experience through practical work assignments, thereby developing skills which will be useful for their career and future employment. 

Our internships are meant for students or recent graduates who have completed their studies less than 2 years ago.
