Job Placement Officer

Assess employers’ needs within the centers’ geographical location;

 Provide reports on emerging market needs specific to project areas of intervention;

 Identify, contact, and build relationships with employers to educate about the implemented program and its advantages;

 Secure employment support services (internship, on the job training, job referral and career guidance) opportunities for the trainees;

 Network with job providers, and professional institutions for recruiting purposes;

 Supervise mentors/trainers and provide support to trainees during their work-based learning experience;

 Coordinate with training to create work based training curriculums and evaluation tools;

 Review employers’ feedback after any placement;

 Create a database of employers and employment support providers;

 Track and record all contacts, as well as complete internal and reporting as directed.

 Prepare weekly and monthly reports to project manager including necessary information and recommendations;

 Ensure adherence of all concerned parties to ILO and UNICEF’s code of conduct for employers engaged in Workplace based learning program;

 Perform other related duties as assigned.
