Consultant for Preparing the BOQ, Designs, Specifications and Supervising the Installation of Solar Street Lights in Al Faour Village-Zahle District

This is to request a quotation to provide consultancy work (including study and supervision) for the installation of solar street lights to support Al Faour municipality:

  1. Project Title: WASH Intervention and Sustainable Energy infrastructure for Syrian Refugees and Lebanese in Bekaa (SAMRS/2021/HUM/1/8)
  2. Expected contract duration: February 2022 – August 2022
  3. Place of delivery: Al Faour Village-Zahle District, Bekaa, Lebanon
  4. Background / More detailed description: ADRA Lebanon in cooperation with ADRA Slovakia is implementing the project WASH Intervention and Sustainable Energy Infrastructure for Syrian Refugees and Lebanese in Bekaa. Result of the project is to deliver functioning street lighting using renewable sources of energy in Al Faour village by exactly 100 street lamps with a solar system installed with a focus on lamp safety. The consultant will provide consulting services in coordination with ADRA Lebanon staff, street lamps supplier and municipality of Al Faour Village representatives.
  5. Budget: The contracting authority's budget envelope for the entire contract is a maximum of 5,000 USD including VAT.
  6. Expected timeline: During the term of the contract, the contracting authority will require the services and outputs listed in the table below.

The contracting authority reserves the right not to select either of the tenders if circumstances have changed or if more than two tenders have not been submitted for one or both parts of the contract, or if the prices proposed in the tenders submitted will exceed the contracting authority's budgetary possibilities.

A completed and signed offer with the subject line 'Consultant Quotation' must be submitted electronically to the e-mail address of the contact person: nissren.jbara@adralebanon.org by 21.02.2022 at 4:00 p.m. Offers will be opened and evaluated on 22.02.2021; tenders submitted no later than the deadline for submission will not be accepted.

In the event of a need to clarify the information provided in this invitation to tender, the interested party may request clarification by sending an e-mail to the following address nissren.jbara@adralebanon.org with the subject line Request for Clarification.

On-site visit for consulting questions related to the tender will take place in Al Faour Village- Zahle District and will be organized by ADRA Lebanon within the expected timeframe 15.02.2022 at 11:00 a.m. in front of Al Faour municipality.

Estimated Commencement of work: on or before 1 March 2022.

The submitted quotation should contain:

  • Proposal of the study. 
  • Detailed work plan (timeline).
  • Company profile and similar previous experience and references from other organizations.
  • A bidding price quotation with calculation/ Budget.

 

Practical arrangement: The ADRA Lebanon team and the consultant will sign a contract allowing him/her to deliver the expected output. The contract will respect the Lebanon laws and state all the details of expenses.

Failure to submit the tender according to the above instructions may result in rejection of the offers.
