Proposal Writing and Project Design Consultant ‎

About Qarama:

Qarama is a non-profit, non-governmental organization that is dedicated to helping vulnerable and ‎marginalized regain their dignity. At Qarama, we define dignity as the quality of being worthy of ‎honor and respect. This lack of self-worth has left many in a vulnerable state, unable to protect their ‎most basic human rights.‎

A passion project that has been 10-years in the making, Qarama is on a mission to imprint on the ‎lives of many in need and change the disposition and transfer their grim realities. At Qarama, we ‎envision a world in which every person – regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, sexuality, ‎class, lineage, or geographical nationality – enjoys equal human rights and equal opportunity to thrive ‎and develop to the greatest extent of their individual talent and ambition.‎

We have identified four objectives that, when achieved, we believe will help restore the dignity of ‎many. Our objectives are child protection, gender equality, mental health, and freedom of expression. ‎The lack of these, has left a majority of the population vulnerable. By tackling these issues together, ‎we will restore the dignity of so many in order to reinforce social stability.‎

Our Promise:‎

At Qarama, we believe that one of our strengths is our willingness to be forthcoming concerning the ‎‎actions we take and our finances. We recognize that transparency and accountability build trust and ‎‎strengthen the relationships between us and our partners, donors, and the individuals we help. ‎Therefore, ‎we promise to continuously share our results and reports with you the best way we can, ‎and keep you ‎informed on how we are keeping our promise to fight for and protect the dignity of ‎every beneficiary. ‎

Qarama’s Mission:‎

‎“Qarama” Union For Human Dignity is a union of givers committed to continuously love, support ‎encourage and guide. A challenging passion project that has been 10-years in the making, we are on a ‎mission during these unprecedented times to imprint on the lives of many in need and transfer their ‎grim realities.‎

It is a tough world out there, but we are going to keep fighting until the last breath.‎

Qarama’s Vision:‎

‎Qarama believes that the recognition of human rights contributes to ‎wellbeing for ‎everyone on the ‎planet. The organization believes that everyone regardless of race, religion, ethnicity, gender, age, class, ‎lineage, or geographical nationality should put their ‎hands together to ‎acquire the rights they have ‎been denied from.‎

Qarama’s Values:‎

  • Integrity: We are open, honest and trustworthy in dealing with beneficiaries, partners, co-‎workers, ‎donors, sponsors, granters and the communities we serve. ‎
  • ‎Accountability‎: We are accountable—individually and collectively—for our behaviors, ‎actions and results.‎
  • ‎Service‎: We are responsible to the people we serve and the donors who enable our service

Guiding Principles:‎

  • ‎Qarama’s prime motivation is to alleviate human suffering amongst the most vulnerable ‎‎members of society. We recognize our obligation to provide humanitarian assistance ‎‎wherever it is needed in our scope of work. ‎
  • ‎Qarama’s aid is given regardless of the race, creed or nationality of the recipient, and without ‎‎adverse distinction of any kind. Aid priorities are calculated on the basis of urgency of ‎need. ‎

We will never allow ‎‎ourselves to be used to gather information of a political, military, or economically ‎sensitive ‎nature for government or other bodies that may serve purposes other than ‎those which are ‎strictly humanitarian
