Youthcan- Policy Brief Designer
Background
With the support of the European Union (EU), Oxfam and MADA are implementing a two-year project entitled “YOUTH CAN: promoting youth economic empowerment in Lebanon”. The project aims at promoting sustainable development, specifically in promoting youth economic empowerment in Northern Lebanon, thus strengthening a conducive youth business ecosystem. In doing so, the Action will facilitate youth access to labour market, and more broadly promote youth economic participation in Lebanon.
Oxfam is supporting youth entrepreneurs in North Lebanon through:
- Strengthening the sustainability and competitiveness of youth-led start-ups or enterprises/SEs with high potential for inclusive job creation, and social innovation in Northern Lebanon.
- Increasing advocacy and influencing capacity of youth entrepreneurs in the direction of policy makers and key private and public stakeholders at local and national levels
Job Description
Oxfam is looking to contract a graphic designer to design the policy brief on on Contracts and Labor Protection. As well as the creation of 5 social Media posts in accordance with the donor and Oxfam Guidelines.
Excepted deliverables
- Design Arabic and English version of the policy brief with illustrations and 5 social media post taken from the policy brief.
- Must be in accordance with EU and Oxfam guidelines.
The selected designer will:
- Prepare creative concept for the product taking into consideration the context and audience
- Provide design with two rounds of revision
- Provide adaptations for online use and printing
Qualifications:
- Experienced in graphic design
- Good understand of the context of working with humanitarian agencies
Timeline:
The designer to propose a plan that includes start dates, round of revisions as needed, and the deadline to deliver the final product. The deadline to receive the product is February 23, 2022.
