Animal Production Expert

LOST is seeking to recruit an Expert in Animal Production in baalbeck 

     Duties and Responsabilities :

• Develop animal planting plans for the necessary feed used for domestic animals.
• Prepare and install the feed mixture for each type of domestic animal species.
• Supervise the process of distributing feed mixtures.
• Manage and oversee the planting of fodder and other agricultural foodstuff used specifically to feed domestic livestock.
• Organize the feed management plan for livestock such as cows and goats taking into consideration the changes that affect this plan (animals’ health, seasonal changes, etc.)
• Provide technical advice on issues pertaining to fodder and livestock taking into consideration their impact on human health risk.
• Assess the technical soundness of livestock production plan.
• Develop training materials and implement trainings on livestock production and health management when necessary.
• Prepare and submit the necessary assignments and reports to the line manager when requested.

• Carry out any other relevant duties within his/her technical competence as may be requested by LOST

   Skills And Qualifications:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience relating to the livestock, forages, and fodder.
2. Bachelor’s degree in agricultural engineering, veterinary, or any other related field.
3. Fluency in Arabic and English.
4. Strong communication skills.
5. Computer literacy
