The aim of the project is to improve the coordination and cooperation between the various state and non-state actors in the prevention of VAWG, in particular with regard to the following objectives: improve data collection and analysis, uniform quality control standards for support services for survivors of VAWG, and a functioning referral system.

Selected Social Development Centers (SDCs), that function under the Ministry of Social Affairs’ mandate, will be supported in their role as they can be the first point of contact for women affected by violence. This, too, corresponds to a strategic measure explicitly provided for in the NAP. The main objective is to support SDCs in particularly disadvantaged communities.

In the same communities as the above mentioned SDCs, selected community-based organizations (CBOs) will be strengthened to carry out awareness-raising activities within their community as well as to offer concrete support services for survivors of VAWG.

The M&E and data collection volunteer will follow up on the receipt of means of verification received from partner organizations, validates and verifies the data, and records it on the P-VAWG project Monitoring and Evaluation system.

The M&E and data collection volunteer will support PVAWG project by conducting field visits for ongoing activities with a focus on data collection, disaggregation, and analysis.

The M&E and data collection volunteer will support the project by ensuring the collection of quality, disaggregated data, corresponding recording, and the storage of information. In addition, the volunteer will perform other duties related to monitoring needed to achieve the indicators of the project (interviews, supporting the collection and drafting success stories, field visits etc.)
