Education Technical Advisor - Bekaa Area

The Education Technical Advisor is to guide on program design, provide direct technical support, and build technical capacity to implement, measure and continuously improve education programs at Nabad

• Take the lead in designing a customized program technical plan and make sure they’re aligned with the Donor’s requirements and MEHE’s guidelines
• Lead the design and implementation of education assessments (i.e. teachers training needs, students’ participation, school management, parent/community involvement in education etc…)
• Have the right monitoring and evaluation tools to assess the education content effectiveness and the teachers’ performance
• Conduct and/or assist the technical officer in conducting technical trainings and ongoing technical coaching for the teachers
• Ensure adherence to Nabad policies and donor requirements.
• Supervising the education activities according to strategy, proposals, budgets and plans.
• Coordinating with the technical team of the relevant partners.
• Involving and informing communities and community leaders about the activities.
• Ensure that Nabad’s related activities are implemented with Nabad’s Protection mainstreaming guidelines and reports any breaches /concerns to the line manager and/ or focal point for proper action.
• Support in creating and reviewing tests and assessments tools.
• Support planning and implementation of partnership activities, including research initiatives with academic partners.
• Conduct technical training for the concerned staff under education program

• Excellent inter-personal communication skills and excellent ability to utilize these for ensuring the best interest of the beneficiaries enrolled in the education programs.

• Capacity to manage stress, identify solutions and define responses to challenges, and to communicate effectively with program officers, supervisors, beneficiaries and facilitators.
