HR Intern (national)

Competencies (knowledge, skills and abilities)

 

Professional competencies:

  • 0-1 year of relevant work experience in related field
  • Good understanding of the humanitarian context
  • Proficiency in MS office especially word and excel.
  • Practice of using electronic equipment i.e. printers, scanners, photocopy machines, etc.

 

Ethics and Behavioral competencies:

  • Punctual and respect attendance policy
  • Dedicate to assigned tasks and the to-do-list during workday to meet the internship goals
  • Flexible to adapt to unanticipated new work plans as they arise
  • Initiative
  • Requested to abide by NPA core values and respects its ethics
  • Should read carefully through NPA code of conduct, safeguarding and anti-corruption policies.
  • Should sign NPA code of conduct, self-declaration on Safeguarding and conflict of interest disclosure statement.
  • Should complete NPA e-course on Safeguarding

 

Basic Duties

  • Scan current and previous staff physical file
  • Update staff database mainly staff employment history

 

Other duties

  • Assist in the recruitment process and onboarding, and in completing case by case documentation
  • Assist in collecting, reviewing and completing (including project allocation) monthly staff timesheets and update related excel sheet tracker for expats.
  • Submit and collect documents to/from NSSF
  • Assist in payroll preparation
  • Issue employee IDs when needed
  • Track staff salary bank slips collection
  • Assist in maintaining the org chart by updating it with new hires and when employees change positions or leave NPA.
  • Perform other tasks when requested by the HR Coordinator
