MAIN DUTIES
Activity Coordination
- Implement Psycho-Social Support Program Components, in coordination with the PSS Coordinator
- Provide technical support on Gender-Based Violence, Child Protection, and Psychosocial Support issues to the field team and partners’ teams
- Support the centers’ development in terms of activities, in coordination with the center team.
- Outreach to the children, youth and encourage them to participate in the center’s activities. Keep good communication with them, ensuring that the center is a safe space with a positive atmosphere that encourages them to learn and discover themselves
- Support youth to develop their capacities on the interpersonal levels
- Support the implementation of awareness-raising sessions and campaigns
- Guide the youth in drafting proposals and reports
Training
- Support and deliver employability and entrepreneurship skills training workshops following a preset curriculum
- Delivers life-skills training as well as awareness-raising sessions to caregivers, women, and youth on interpersonal skills and psychosocial issues.
Administration
- Support the centers’ development in terms of activities
- Support administrative work related to the center including the development of action plans and reporting (monthly and quarterly)
- Facilitates or supports project-related training/workshops for staff and volunteers.
- Conducts field visits on a regular basis to the different project sites to ensure that activities are being implemented by AL-JANA’s team according to the project work plan and in compliance with the monitoring and evaluation plan.
- Provides technical support on Gender-Based Violence, Child Protection, and Psychosocial Support to AL-JANA’s project officers and project field teams as well as to partners’ teams.
- Supports project internal monitoring and evaluation
- Handle and follow-up on all logistics work related to the center including required maintenance and office supplies among others
- Facilitate the implementation of project-related training workshops for staff and volunteers
- Support project internal monitoring and evaluation processes
- Participate in project meetings at field level and provide regular feedback
- Support correspondence with partners, in cooperation with the Programmes Coordinator…
- Represents ARCPA in related events
- Performs other job-related tasks as requested by supervisor
MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Technical
- Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology Public Health,
- A minimum of 2 years experience
- Ability to design and implement training workshops
Interpersonal
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- Coaching and mentorship skills
- Team player with the ability to deliver information to different age groups
- Excellent reporting skills
- Able to work under pressure
WORKING RELATIONS

- Activists, Trainers, Facilitators, Artists, and Community Actors

WORKING CONDITIONS
- The incumbent is required to work 6 days a week
- Working hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. during the winter season and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer season
- Preference will be given to those residing in Wadi El-Zeini area and to females since the job incumbent is expected to deliver sensitive topics to female groups
