Supervising Engineer

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Review of plans, infrastructural schemes, BOQ, and specs developed by the design consultant, lighting consultant, and/or contractor;
• Supervise the execution of the project;
• Check the loads to be supported by the layers under the new pavement in order to avoid future pavement deformation;
• Serve as a quality assurance supervisor for all processes related to engineering works;
• Regularly examine and verify the works and outputs, both quantitatively and qualitatively;
• Issue and sign the Certificates of Completion of Works
• Any other related duties, as required.

Competencies

• Qualified Civil Engineer (or supervising engineer) with 10+ years experience in public space interventions (including roads/infrastructure)
• Attested and relevant working experience
• Proven supervisory skills and experience
• Fluency in Arabic
• Solid coordination skills

Project duration:

2-3 months, starting April 1 2022.

Remuneration
Competitive, consistent with experience.
