Volunteer-North Bekaa- Masharee Al-Qaa

Main responsibilities:

• Support the facilitators in the implementation of family FPSS for caregivers and adolescents.
• Support in the organization of sessions and distribution of materials and refreshments
• Receiving training on Child Protection core concepts, PSEAH, Basic GBV, Child Labor, SIR and all the related trainings conducted AUB
• Helps and works along (replace with “Support”) with the Family FPSS animator in conducting sessions for caregivers and Children. (remove)
• Helps and work along with the Family FPSS animator in the collection and reporting of data.
• Helps and work along with Family FPSS animator in identifying cases for referrals and adheres to the confidentiality of data shared
• Any other duty assigned by the Family FPSS animators and supervisors , in the framework of the Child Protection activities

Required Profile:

• University degree or knowledge in Sociology, social work, education, or any related field
• 1 year of volunteering experience, including at the field level, in the NGO system particularly inside Syrian communities
• 1 or 2 years experience in child protection or any relevant field
• Experience in working with a diverse team.
• Extreme knowledge of  Informal Tented Settlements in North Bekaa ( e.g MAQ)
• Excellent communication skills, cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to improvise, team player; Ability to live and productively work under stress and in insecure and harsh environments.
• Commitment to the aims, principles, and values of TDH IT.
• Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to the needs of the team and organization.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong internal relationships
