The intern will provide general support to the Major Gifts Officer at Greenpeace Middle East and North Africa to implement, coordinate and execute various functions within this department. This will allow the intern to develop new skill sets and to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of Greenpeace MENA fundraising work.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Communicate with supporters or donors, answering queries and providing support
- Help in organizing events either online or offline; drafting agenda, gather material, take notes, follow-ups, etc
- Assist in researching potential foundation, and major donor
- Assist in procurement when needed e.g gather price quotation
- Assist in the implementation of donor cultivation and solicitation events and activities
- Attending and taking minutes of meetings
- Provide support in data gathering from different stakeholders
- Organizing the files of Fundraising Drive and making sure all files are added there
- Draft and proofread professional correspondence and fundraising materials.

- Genuine interest in working in the NGO sector, and an interest in environmental issues is highly desirable.
Qualifications
Education: University Degree in Communications, English literature or related field.
Language: Strong verbal and writing communication skills in Arabic and English.
