Under the direct supervision of the technical Officer TB/HIV in Lebanon and the overall guidance of the Head of IOM Office in Lebanon , the incumbent will contribute to streamlining the health services available to migrants and vulnerable populations across the areas of IOM work.
1- Promote and facilitate compliance with protocols including accurate coding of diagnosis and that cases are managed according to the standards and guidelines of the Lebanese Ministry of Public Health (MOPH)
2- Assist in Conducting medical records assessments to ensure compliance with MOPH standards
3- Assist in monitoring the requests for coverage submitted to the PHU.
4- Assist in monitoring regularly the compliance to SOP’s set.
5- Participate in establishing links between health status/coverage indicators and social/other vulnerabilities (e.g. vaccination status, nutritional status, mental health indicators, chronic infectious disease, persons with disabilities etc.);
6- Assist in monitoring and providing support for the implementation of improvement plans through regular visit at the PHCCs.
7- Participate in the analysis of epidemiological trend using the Health Information system, monitor early warning systems for outbreaks and investigate emergence of communicable diseases.
8- Support the field staff and Monitoring and Evaluation staff in the analysis of morbidities, service utilization and care seeking behaviour.
9- Assist in interpreting the project technical and operational guidelines to the PHCC staff and support them in applying these guidelines.
10- Support in referrals between supported health facilities and other health service providers with proper documentation.
11- Perform medical examination and consultation for medical treatments and investigations of TB confirmed and presumptive cases when needed.
12- Provide patients with sufficient details about tuberculosis during the daily duties; to raise awareness toward tuberculosis and to prevent the habits that could spread it.
13- Support In-patient TB facility (Sanatorium) in TB and MDR-TB case management and follow up.
14- Provide suggestions for scaling up and improving the quality of HIV prevention, care, treatment and control including TB screening services for most–at-risk and vulnerable populations.
15- Assist in putting in place, clear referral pathways for health services between IOM and its different service providing partners.
16- Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Medical degree (MD), License to practice medicine in Lebanon/Member of the LOP,
A minimum of two years working experience as a medical doctor is required,
Experience working with national or International NGOs, experience in Primary health care are an asset
